Universal Medical is a business whose employees regularly travel to healthcare facilities. As such, our employees will take preventive and protective measures, just as with any other health or safety threat. Universal Medical recommends that its employees, especially those engaging in travel for business, take the following precautions, recommended by the CDC, until the outbreak is contained:
- Regularly and thoroughly wash their hands.
- Remain at home if they are ill, particularly if exhibiting acute respiratory issues or running a temperature of 100 degrees or above.
- Wear a facemask if they are sick and if required by the facility they are visiting.
- Clean and disinfect touched surfaces in/on/around the SPECT camera and surrounding area.
- Educate themselves on the coronavirus outbreak.
Additionally, prior to traveling, employees will confirm with the medical facility that they are visiting if it is or is not on lockdown, either voluntarily or due to confirmed instances of the disease that would necessitate the cancellation of the planned business.
