Did an OEM Tell You Your Camera is at End of Life?

There will come a time, probably sooner than you’d like, that an OEM will tell you one of your systems has reached end of life (EOL).

Your camera might be nine or ten years old or less and still be running great. What gives? I guess there are lots of reasons an OEM might declare EOL for a system.

As we view it here at Universal, it’s never time to retire. We do not end of life anything because we know we can keep it running. Our parts department is extensive. We are constantly buying systems to recondition, so we never run out of the subsystems, components, motors, and electronics that you need to keep your system going. So when the OEM tells you it’s time to call it quits on your camera, don’t be upset. More than likely, your system has another 5+ years with Universal’s help.
