Systems Declared "End of Life" Usually, AREN'T!

Service Essentials

When declaring End-Of-Life for any SPECT camera an OEM may leave customers with the impression that these cameras should be replaced. In most instances, cameras declared End-Of-Life by the OEM have years of useful life remaining if properly maintained. We prove this every day at Universal.

At Universal, our extensive resources and a large inventory of in-stock reconditioned OEM parts allow us to extend the useful life of a wide range of Nuclear Medicine systems for years, keeping them operating at the highest levels of performance.

To qualify for reimbursement, Nuclear Medicine departments must renew their SPECT accreditation with ACR or IAC every two or three years. Universal can assist you to achieve or maintain your ACR or IAC accreditation by expertly maintaining your SPECT systems at the performance levels required to achieve or renew your accreditation.

Not certain of your SPECT camera’s performance and readiness? Universal has a free evaluation service during which we will assess camera condition and determine what needs to be done to bring the system up to proper clinical standards and original OEM specifications. As part of this free evaluation service, our expert service technician will provide you with a useful life expectancy for your SPECT camera.

Ensure the best Nuclear Medicine decisions for your department by taking advantage of Universal’s breadth of experience and technical knowledge when purchasing a SPECT camera, maintenance, accessories and parts from our extensive inventory of reconditioned OEM parts.
