High price doesn’t mean high quality service.
You probably see and hear plenty of ads from companies claiming to have the best or cheapest service around. Well, perhaps they’re true, but are you getting that “best” service for a good price? Is that cheap service just the bare minimum required by the OEMs? Or is it based upon years of experience servicing all system makes and models.
We posted a helpful list on the blog previously that you can view here. It has all the important factors to take into account, but for now we wanted to specifically touch on custom service contracts.
You shouldn’t have to go all-in with a high-price OEM maintenance contract to get the best quality service. And you shouldn’t have to have the same contract for every system! Maybe one is brand new and it’s not necessary to worry about at first. Maybe you have some older cameras that need extra coverage. Maybe you just need parts to keep the system running until you’re ready for a new or reconditioned one!
Here are soem different options to consider:
- Full Service Maintenance: all inclusive – preventive maintenance, emergency visits, and all parts
- Preventive Maintenance Only: required to maintain highest quality SPECT camera operation (repair service and parts priced separately).
- Capped Camera Coverage: for SPECT pre-determined capped service hours, parts, and technical support based on equipment type and pricing schedule. A cost saving option if your SPECT system is in great working condition.
- Co-Op First Pass: if you have a biomedical engineer on-site, we split your SPECT service coverage between your engineer and our field service team.
- Time & Materials Preferred: if you have multiple SPECT cameras, this contract could be exactly what you need to reduce your costs and improve the performance of your SPECT systems.
- Relocations: professional de-installation, packing, shipping, and re-installation at your new site
- Detector Replacements: if your SPECT camera has a defective crystal
