Nuclear medicine research continues to expand the usefulness of the discipline for disease diagnosis and therapy management.  This most recent study from April 17, in the American Journal of Roentgenology showed it is possible to quantify the degeneration of dopaminergic nigrostriatal transporters in PD using striatal SBR derived from DAT SPECT with good correlation with the HY stage. Recently, two companies announced they are building facilities to expand the production of Moly-99 for the stabilization of the supply of radiopharmaceuticals in the United States.  SHINE recently received a 91-acre parcel from the City of Janesville, Wisconsin and they expect to be breaking ground within a month on their new facility.  In separate press release another company, medical isotope firm Coquí RadioPharmaceuticals announced they received a transfer of land in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, from the U.S. Department of Energy on which the company plans to build a medical isotope production facility, primarily to manufacture Moly-99.  They project the plant
